The deal cementing Digital First Media as the new owner of Riverside's Press-Enterprise and the Orange County Register newspapers closes today. Digital First already owns the San Bernardino Sun, the Redlands Daily Facts, and the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. KVCR's Matt Guilhem spoke to a journalism professor and former Register employee about what the new ownership of the papers could mean for the news landscape in the Inland Empire and across Southern California.
