President Obama is making a stop in Southern California today, on his way to Hawaii for Christmas, to meet privately with families and victims of the San Bernardino shooting. His visit comes a day after officials arrested and charged 24-year-old Enrique Marquez in relation to the attack.
Marquez is a friend of San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook who bought two of the guns – the AR-15 rifles – that Farook and his wife used in the attack on the Inland Regional Center. Marquez is being charged on multiple counts, including providing material support for terrorism.
Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson gets the latest on Marquez and the San Bernardino investigation from Matt Guilhem, a reporter with NPR member station KVCR.
