Many Calif. Farmers Say They'll Cut Workers' Hours If Farmworker Overtime Bill Becomes Law
California farm workers could soon be eligible for overtime the way most laborers are: if they work more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week. That's a change recently passed by the California Legislature and awaiting action from Governor Jerry Brown.
