Last Friday, activists staged demonstrations in cities across California protesting the state budget proposal Governor Jerry Brown released last week. Inland Empire social service advocates and others demonstrated in downtown Riverside, advocating for more state spending on community programs, justice for undocumented immigrants, and higher minimum wages. KVCR's Natalya Estrada was at the Riverside protest and has this report.
