The contentious World Logistics Center development was approved by the Moreno Valley City Council on August 19, in a divisive 3-2 vote.  Two of the councilmembers who gave the 40.6-million-square-foot facility the green light received campaign support from the project's developer, Iddo Benzeevi.  This week, KVCR's Matt Guilhem speaks with the two Moreno Valley councilmembers who continue to have concerns about the massive development project.

Moreno Valley City Councilmember George Price was one of two councilmembers who voted against approval of the World Logistics Center development.

Part 1 below features Councilmember George Price, who voted against the warehouse project, which will be constructed in the council district Price represents.  Price has abundant concerns, not the least of which was the money spent by Benzeevi to assure the project approval.

This is Part 1 of a 2-part series of interviews; be sure to hear Matt Guilhem's interview with another Moreno Valley council opponent of the project -- MoVal City Councilmember LaDonna Jempson -- who continues to be concerned about the impact the development will have on Moreno Valley's political process and quality of life.  A link to that story is below, or you can click/cut & paste this link:  http://kvcrnews.org/post/moreno-valley-councilmember-world-logistics-center-approval-leaves-big-questions-unanswered
