A bill pushed by an Inland Empire-area legislator received unanimous support on the state Senate floor, and now moves to the state Assembly. The law would allow teachers, medical professionals, and police officers to make initial reports of non-emergency child abuse or neglect through a detailed and comprehensive online reporting system.
