Bill Would Remove The Word 'Lynching' From California Law

The term "lynching" likely brings to mind brutal mob killings of African-Americans. But the term has a different legal definition in California that some say is confusing. A bill that would eliminate the term passed a state Senate committee yesterday (Tuesday). Capital Public Radio's Katie Orr reports.
