Last Friday, a judge denied a request by environmental groups to shut down a controversial oil terminal near Bakersfield, which has been cited as a "major polluter" by the federal Environmental Protection Agency. The oil terminal is owned by the same company whose pipeline recently failed in Santa Barbara, dumping more than 100,000 gallons of crude onto the California coast. KVCR's Matt Guilhem has more.
