Longtime conservative Republican Congressman Darrell Issa - who represents a district that covers parts of San Diego and Orange counties - is facing an unusually tough re-election fight with an upstart Democratic opponent.  Steve Walsh, a correspondent with KVCR's Southern California colleague station KPBS in San Diego filed this story for The California Report.
