On Golden Pond, starring Judy Norton & Don Most opens the 2026 season of The Big Bear Theatre Project, running June 18th through the 28th. David Fleming speaks with Director Beth Wheat about the theatre, the show of course and how they ended up with Judy and Don - which ties into why The Big Bear Theatre Project is doing this show. We'll also hear JUST a bit on the scene in general around Big Bear and the lake.

God Bless us one and all?That's the one. This play, adapted by Beth Wheat closes the 2025 season of The Big Bear Theatre Project. David Fleming spoke recently with Managing Director Beth Wheat about this adaptation performed by one actor accompanied by a chorus of voices. A foley table plays a role (to coin a phrase) as well.
