California Prison Inmates Key to Wildfire Control

Of the more than nine-thousand firefighters battling wildfires across California right now, roughly 40 percent are inmates who participate in fire camps. There's been some fear that the reduction in the state's prison population might lead to a shortage of firefighters. So far, that fear has not played out. Capital Public Radio's Ben Adler reports.
