Following Court Orders, California Continues Reducing It's Prison Population

For years, federal courts have been pressing the State of California to  reduce imate populations in state prisons to levels below what the courts consider "cruel and unusual punishment."  The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says its making progress reducing prison overcrowding.  Capital Public Radio's Katie Orr reports.
