Most of the imported goods that come into the United States arrive through the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the biggest port complex in North America. Southern California's coastal ports also handle a significant percentage of the exports that leave the U.S for abroad. Much of that port cargo is processed for shipping in Inland Empire logistics centers.
