FPPC Scraps Rule Limiting Contributions From Lawmakers To Stop Recall Election

California lawmakers can now transfer unlimited funds from their campaign war chests to Fullerton Democratic state Senator Josh Newman as he fights a recall election.  The state's top campaign finance watchdog agency voted to strip the current cap on those contributions during a testy hearing yesterday (Thursday).  Capital Public Radio's Ben Bradford reports.
