On the social calendar of Palm Springs, the annual Modernism Week has become one of the city's biggest events. The week-long festival that celebrates Palm Springs' famous mid-20th-century architecture, design, fashion and culture occurs each year in February. Over the past decade, Modernism Week has become so popular that organizers have now established a yearly Modernism Week preview weekend in October.
