Former Press-Enterprise Columnist and longtime KVCR news contributor, Cassie MacDuff joins KVCR to review a few of the Inland Empire’s major news stories of the past week. IE News Review With P-E's Cassie MacDuff: Mt. Trail Closed; Virtual Reality In MoVal Classrooms

Press-Enterprise Columnist Cassie MacDuff and KVCR's Ken Vincent review some of the major news stories of the week in the Inland Empire, including:

-Recreational trail to popular San Bernardino Mountains waterfall is closed by authorities due to drought-imposed dangerous conditions;

-Governor Jerry Brown vetoes bill that would have provided relief for backlogged courts in the Inland Empire, and;

-Students in Moreno Valley schools use virtual reality to dissect biology specimens.

Ken Vincent has retired. We appreciate the way he shared his expertise with many of our young interns and reporters over the nearly eight years he spent as KVCR's lead journalist and Morning Edition host. We wish him a happy and relaxing retirement as he spends more time in his garden and, as he mentioned, more time on the golf course. Thanks Ken!
