Weekly News Review with P-E Columnist Cassie MacDuff

Press-Enterprise Columnist Cassie MacDuff and KVCR's Ken Vincent review some of the major news stories of the week in the Inland Empire, including:

-Beaumont residents and city officials wait for details about why the FBI and local law enforcement authorities raided Beaumont City Hall and other locations associated with city government operations;

-a legal dispute between the Riverside County Government Counsel and the Riverside County Grand Jury, and;

-Years after Riverside and San Bernardino Counties loosened restrictions on the operation of food trucks, there are still very few food trucks roaming IE streets.

Ken Vincent has retired. We appreciate the way he shared his expertise with many of our young interns and reporters over the nearly eight years he spent as KVCR's lead journalist and Morning Edition host. We wish him a happy and relaxing retirement as he spends more time in his garden and, as he mentioned, more time on the golf course. Thanks Ken!
