Imagine waking up without basic motor functions. For Larry Smith, a South Dakota man who's lived with Parkinson's Disease for 20 years, this is his reality. The documentary film, "Ride With Larry," will be showcased this Saturday at the Cinema Culturas Festival at UCR's Palm Desert Center in the Coachella Valley. The film focuses on one man's journey as he rises above Parkinson's and attempts a 300-mile bike ride across South Dakota. KVCR's Natalya Estrada has more.
