San Bernardino Third Ward City Councilman John Valdivia is a lifelong resident of the city. After overcoming an effort to recall him from in November, 2013, Valdivia remains a member of the council which has been trying to steer San Bernardino through bankruptcy. However, as he tells KVCR's Matt Guilhem -- and as his votes and actions at council meetings demonstrate -- Valdivia maintains a very different perspective on charter reform and the bankruptcy than his colleagues.
