The Rainy Season Was A Hinder And A Help For California Fires

California's wildfire season is off to an intense start thanks to thick grasslands left behind after the year's heavy rainfall.  While the rains may be the cause of bigger grass fires this year, they may help prevent our state's alpine forests from burning as badly. Capital Public Radio's Sally Schilling investigates.
