Calif. Lawmakers Face Possible Public Backlash On Pricey Transportation Taxes

Governor Jerry Brown and Democratic leaders have a huge challenge this week: convince all but one Democrat in the California Legislature to vote for new fuel tax increases and vehicle fees to repair the atate's crumbling roads and highways.  That's because it's an incredibly unpopular vote, as Capital Public Radio's Ezra David Romero found when he spoke with drivers in Fresno.
