Piper Kerman, the author of the book, "Orange Is The New Black" -- which inspired the hit cable TV series -- will be speaking at the University of Redlands this evening (Thursday). She'll talk about her book, the TV show, and an issue she focuses on a lot: prison reform. KVCR's Jessie Land spoke with Piper Kerman yesterday, and got her to preview this evening's talk.
