California Assembly Votes To End Cash Bail For Criminal Justice Suspects

The California state Assembly has voted to end cash bail.  The measure passed by lawmakers yesterday (Monday) would replace bail with a pre-trial detention system that has polarized both lawmakers and the same civbil liberties groups that originally supported the overhaul.  Capital Public Radio''a Ben Bradford reports.
