Natalie Cole passed away December 31 at the age of 65, due to congestive heart failure. KVCR General Manager Alfredo Cruz interviewed Natalie Cole at a time when she not only was soon to perform at the Hollywood Bowl, but also had a new album out. Still though, what Cole kept coming back to in the interview with Cruz was -- fittingly -- music going from generation to the next.
