Former Press-Enterprise Columnist and longtime KVCR news contributor, Cassie MacDuff joins KVCR to review a few of the Inland Empire’s major news stories of the past week. IE News Review With P-E's Cassie MacDuff: RivCo Tech Problems; Tribe v. SBCo; Hemet Politics; ONT

Press-Enterprise Columnist Cassie MacDuff and KVCR's Ken Vincent review some of the major news stories of the week in the Inland Empire, including:

-Riverside County supervisor calls county's internet technology department "a money pit;"

-A Native American tribe in San Bernardino County has asked a judge to tell the county to 'back off' intervening on tribal land;

-Hemet city councilman announces he'll resign, then says he won't, and;

-more details on the deal to transfer ownership of Ontario International Airport from LA back to IE.

Ken Vincent has retired. We appreciate the way he shared his expertise with many of our young interns and reporters over the nearly eight years he spent as KVCR's lead journalist and Morning Edition host. We wish him a happy and relaxing retirement as he spends more time in his garden and, as he mentioned, more time on the golf course. Thanks Ken!
