CPUC Fails To Adopt Utilities' Proposals To Make Solar Power More Expensive

The rooftop solar industry hailed a long-awaited proposal by California energy regulators yesterday (Tuesday).  Over objections from the big electrical utility companies, The PUC decided to leave current rules mostly in place, instead of adopting the utilities' proposals that would have made solar power significantly more expensive.  Capital Public Radio's Ben Bradford reports.

Ben Bradford is a city kid, who came to Charlotte from San Francisco by way of New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.
