Governor Jerry Brown has a tough job in front of him. A federal court has ordered him to reduce the prison population. Brown has to do this while keeping the public safe. Think of it as the opposite of easy-peasy. So, to help get this done, Brown is asking voters to make it easier for thousands of inmates to get out of prison.
