San Bernardino Valley College has been evacuated of all students and personnel as a result of what Campus Security called "a threat to campus." As a result, 91.9 KVCR is operating without live board operators, nor were personnel able to switch the station to automated programming before being ordered to evacuate.
The SBVC Campus Police Department Chief Pierre Galvez sent out automated messages via phone and text to students and staff, saying, "There is a threat to San Bernardino Valley College Campus. Please leave the campus immediately."
As soon as the threat is cleared, KVCR personnel will be able to return to the studios and resume regular programming. In the meantime, KVCR thanks listeners for their understanding.
