The Pros And Cons Of A Single Consolidated Western U.S. Electricity Market

A new study shows that creating a multi-state electricity market in the West would allow California to reach its 50 percent renewable energy goal by 2030.  As Capital Public Radio's Amy Quinton reports, some environmental groups worry an expansion of a regional power market would keep coal-fired power plants operating.
