Mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio within just 24 hours have led to renewed calls for federal gun control laws. Six years ago, after the Aurora, Colorado shooting, lawmakers in Colorado banned high-capacity magazines, the containers which feed ammunition into guns.
