Turpin Home Back in the Market

Reports from the Press Enterprise say that the house in Peris where prosecutors say the children of David and Louise Turpin were tortured, which appeared to have sold last week, is going back on the market.

The house was sold at an auction on January 2nd to an unidentified bidder. The house will be up for bid again on the Hudson and Marshall website starting January 12th.

The auction listing still does not note that the Turpins are accused of schackling and starving 12 of their 13 children who were ages 2 top 29 at the time of the parents' arrests last year in January. California real estate law requires notice only when there has been a death of any kind or exposure to controlled substances such as methamphetamine or fentanyl.
