On Friday, the University of California, Riverside is hosting a day-long symposium called, "California Indians, Canonization of Junipero Serra, and Consequences of Colonialism." The symposium will present two panels featuring California Indian educators, scholars, and leaders. Terria Smith of KVCR's sister TV station FNX will moderate the morning panel during the symposium, and has this story.
