Riverside Kaiser Permanente's "Hospital At Home" Program Cuts Costs, Pleases Patients

Being in a hospital is rarely a pleasant experience, especially for older patients.  Now, a program at Kaiser Permanente in Riverside is testing the value of allowing certain patients to opt out of a hospital stay and, instead, get taken care of at home.  On 91.9 KVCR’s Morning Edition this morning, “The California Report “ aired this story about an elderly Inland Empire couple trying out the new service.
