Remembering Jack Brown: IE Business Leader, Community Builder, Philanthropist, Nice Guy

One of the Inland Empire's most prominent business leaders and philanthropists passed away this past weekend.  Jack H. Brown, longtime CEO and Executive Chairman of Stater Bros. grocery markets, died Sunday at age 78.  KVCR's Ken Vincent has this tribute to Brown, including an archive interview from 2012.

We appreciate the way he shared his expertise with many of our young interns and reporters over the nearly eight years he spent as KVCR's lead journalist and Morning Edition host.
