Violet Raine is nine years old in the fourth grade. She loves sketching, dancing, language arts, video gaming, putting clothes together, traveling, and volleyball. Her favorite type of dance is lyrical. She is currently learning the violin. When she grows up, she would like to be a costume designer. One of her dreams is to embalm a mummy. She’s excited to be a youth reporter for KVCR.

Dean is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and majored in Broadcast Journalism. He is an avid sports fan and his favorite teams are the Milwaukee Bucks and Cincinnati Bengals. On his free time, Dean loves spending time with his four siblings and helping out at his family owned business called Donut Town Highland. Dean hopes to become a sports agent and represent some of his favorite athletes.

Jenny joined is a freelance reporter and most recently reported for Al Día through The Dallas Morning News. Before that, she covered politics for Univision. Born in Colombia, she reported on human rights in LatAM for a decade and received the IWMF’s Neuffer Fellowship to MIT, the Ochberg Fellowship, and the USC Health Journalism Fellowship.
