A little bit of funk, rock, and soul, Inland Empire’s homegrown band Kiki Diago will be performing in Downtown Riverside at the end of this month.

Other performers include Eduardo Arenas from Chicano Batman, Fontana based band Dream Lover, and LA based solo artist Katzu Oso.

The second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival kicked off today, with the desert's annual music celebration expected to pack both the Empire Polo Grounds and Inland Empire freeways.  As with Coachella, Weekend Two is pretty much a carbon copy of Weekend One.  This was our story last week, and we're stickin' with it this week.

Redlands Theatre Festival 2015

The Redlands Theatre Festival runs through August 22 in Prospect Park. KVCR's Lillian Vasquez spoke recently to RTF's Artistic Director, Ron Adams and Kristin Staten who heads up Media Relations.

For three years now, Cal State San Bernardino has been combining art with what had been the annual jazz concert, and ever since, the event has done nothing but grow.  KVCR's Rick Dulock recently spoke with festival organizing committee members Lacey Kendall and Jacob Poore, in this excerpt from KVCArTS.

TV Perfomer Now Doing Old Radio Plays Live On Stage

Actor and voice-over performer Phil Proctor has long been a member of the satire performance group Firesign Theatre Company, as well as the voice of several TV cartoon characters from the 1960s and 70s.  Phil Proctor is also part of a team recreating old radio shows live on stage.  Proctor will be performing tonight in Palm Springs, as we hear in this interview.

The performance sensation known as Celtic Thunder is returning to the Inland Empire.  KVCR's David Fleming has this feature preview of the group's upcoming appearance at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside.
