The Peanuts are coming to KVCR! Local fans will have even more ways to watch Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang on their holiday adventures as Apple and PBS team up for special, ad free broadcasts of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” this holiday season.  To complement their release on Apple TV+ this holiday season, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will also air on KVCR on November 22, 2020 at 7:30 pm local time. Next month,  “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will also air on KVCR on December 13 at 7:30 pm local time.

With the holiday season upon us, there are many holiday events and activities throughout the IE. Lillian Vasquez was in Redlands to experience first-hand the joy of children laughing and excited to fill their bag with a toy.

This year, the saying seems to be: "The 3rd is the new 4th."  Because July 4th falls on a Tuesday this year, many people have extended their holiday weekend into this week, and some communities are holding fireworks celebrations on the 3rd.  Here's KVCR's Ken Vincent with more.

This Friday - the day after Thanksgiving - local dignitaries will flip a switch that will illuminate millions of Christmas lights that cover the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa, inaugurating the 2016 Riverside Festival of Lights.  KVCR's Ken Vincent has more.
