Calif. Supreme Court Largely Upholds Prop. 66 Expediting State Death Penalty

The state of California must move forward with a new, expedited death penalty process that voters approved last election.  The state's top court largely rejected a legal challenge yesterday (Thursday) that had temporarily halted Proposition 66 from taking effect.  But the California Supreme Court unanimously struck down one aspect of the law, as Capital Public Radio's Ben  Bradford reports.
