Jerry Brown Claims Fiscal Restraint In Proposing California's Largest-Ever Budget

California governor Jerry Brown was in his element when he introdeuced his annual January budget proposal yesterday at the state Capitol. The Governor waved charts and warned of looming recession, even as he called for new taxes and the largest budget of his political career. But as Capital Public Radio's Ben Bradford reports, Brown stuck to a familiar theme of fiscal restraint.
