The director of the FBI made an unexpected trip to San Bernardino yesterday (Tuesday) to personally thank local first responders to the San Bernardino mass shooting. Among those meeting with FBI Director James Comey was San Bernardino Police Chief Jerrod Berguan, who will fill in as interim city manager for San Bernardino next month. Ken Vincent has retired. We appreciate the way he shared his expertise with many of our young interns and reporters over the nearly eight years he spent as KVCR's lead journalist and Morning Edition host.
