Largest Active Wildfire In U.S. Blazes In Southern Utah

A wildfire in southeast Utah continues to burn Tuesday in the town of Brian Head, near the Dixie National Forest. It started 10 days ago. At approximately 46,000 acres, or slightly larger than Washington, D.C., it’s now the largest active wildfire in the United States.

Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson speaks with Judy Fahys (@judyfutah), a reporter from KUER in Salt Lake City, about the status of the wildfire and efforts to suppress it.
