Virginia Gubernatorial Primary Shaping Up To Reflect National Mood

Virginians head to the polls Tuesday to pick both a Republican and Democratic candidate for governor. While the GOP race has a clear front-runner, Democrats are seeing a tighter contest between Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam and former Congressman Tom Perriello.

The Virginia race, one of the few elections for governor in 2017, is shaping up to reveal the internal divisions of both parties. Here & Now‘s Robin Young speaks with Patrick Madden (@Patrick_Madden) from Here & Now contributor WAMU.
