Thousands More Evacuating Massive Fire In Alberta
Alberta, Canada, remains in a state of emergency Friday, with the massive Fort McMurray wildfire still raging. More than 80,000 people have evacuated so far because of the fire, and on Friday, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is escorting convoys of people who are trapped north of the fire zone to safer regions further south. Some 8,000 people were airlifted out Thursday, and more will get on planes Friday. Here & Now‘s Robin Young gets the latest on the fire from Edmonton Journal reporter Otiena Ellwand.
