Two Life Sentences for Rudolph in Plea Deal

Eric Rudolph is sentenced to life in prison for the 1998 bombing of an Alabama abortion clinic, which killed a police officer and wounded a nurse. Rudolph, who eluded capture for several years, said in court that he has no regrets.

In a plea deal, Rudolph also admitted bombing the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, a clinic and a gay bar in Atlanta in 1997. Those attacks resulted in one death and scores of injuries. Rudolph is scheduled to be sentenced for those crimes in August.
