The government spends more than a billion dollars annually on California teeth. Denti-Cal offers dental coverage to 13 million low-income residetns who qualify for Medi-Cal services. And yet most California dentists refuse to participate in the program. That leaves patients withimpossible wait times that lead to expensive health consequences.
